Fun things to type into Google

Google has been revolutionizing the search engine over the past years and from the year it started to now, Google has not changed much in design perspective. The modern styled Google does feel the same google as we used in past years though the methods, features and functions are totally different.
Google has came up with something useful, but mostly not useful things. Apart from this we can use it for fun. Whenever, you want to take up break and just distract your mind from your work for a little while you can try following.

1. Star Wars Text Style

Are you a start wars fan? Did you ever wanted to show your content scrolled down like in the start wars. By typing “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” you can see this in google.

2. Barrel Roll

An oldie but a goodie. Typing either “do a barrel roll” or “z or r twice” will make the Google search page roll flip 360 degrees. Why? For fun of course. Both phrases are a reference to Star Fox, in which you had to hit the Z or R button twice to roll your fighter left or right.

3. Blink

Typing in “<blink>” searches Google for blink and then makes every instance of the word blink in the results.

4. Google Like 1998

Do you remember what Google looked like when it first lurched onto the open web in 1998? The aesthetic was similar, but 2016’s web is quite a few leaps forward in design over the late 1990s web. Type “google in 1998” to show what the search engine was first like and conduct searches like you’ve just lost 18 years.

5. Super Mario Bros

Type “super mario bros” into the search box, hit enter and click the flashing box to make the iconic coin collect chime ring out, as if Mario himself had just hit the box.

6. Flip a coin

Type “flip a coin”, if you don’t have a coin to play toss but if you trust Google not to be biased, of course. You will see the flip coin animation on your screen.

7. Google’s funny languages

Google has some fun with languages. There’s pirate Google, Elmer Fudd Googleand hacker Google.
Just put “?hl=xx-klingon” at the end of your Google URL (google.com.np/, for instance) and ylnej in Klingon.

8. Recursion

Google’s programmers enjoy a good nerd joke more than most of us. Searching for “recursion” asks you whether you meant “recursion”, which when you click on it, asks you whether you meant “recursion” recursively.

9. Tilting

Typing “askew” into Google sets the whole page off at a tilted angle. Seeing that you will be amazed. The whole page just goes titled.
These are some amazing facts that google has integrated in their site. Simple yet elegant and beautiful.
